Apps People Keep on Their Phone.
An app earns its place by making one thing genuinely easier for your customer. We start with what that thing is, then build around it, rather than starting with a feature list and hoping it lands.
A short call to work out what the app needs to do, and what it will cost.
How we approach an app
Work out what it is for
Before anything is designed we agree the one job the app has to do well. Everything else follows from that.
Design the flow first
How someone moves through the app matters more than how any single screen looks. We map that before we design it.
Build and test
Built, then tested on real devices, not just on a simulator on a developer machine.
Launch and support
We help get it into the stores and stay available afterwards for the fixes and changes that always follow a launch.
This is for you if
If any of these sound familiar, this is the right place to start.
Your customers do something repeatedly that a website makes awkward.
You need bookings, orders or tracking in people’s pockets.
You have an idea and need someone to tell you honestly whether an app is the right answer.
You have an existing app that is slow, dated, or nobody uses.
Questions Worth Asking.
The things most people want to know before they get in touch.
How much does a mobile app cost?
The cost of a mobile app depends on what it has to do: a straightforward listing or booking app costs far less than one handling payments, live tracking or a large backend. Building for both Android and iOS costs more than one platform alone. Tell us what the app needs to do and we will give you a fixed quote before any work starts.
Do I need an app, or is a website enough?
Most businesses need a good website first. An app is worth building when customers come back repeatedly and the phone can do something a website cannot: notifications, offline use, location, or a much faster repeat purchase. If a website would serve you better, we will say so.
How long does an app take to build?
A focused first version usually takes two to four months. Apps with payments, live tracking or a substantial backend take longer. We would rather launch something small that works than spend a year on version one.
What happens after the app is launched?
Apps need maintenance in a way websites do not. Android and iOS release updates every year, and apps that are not maintained eventually stop working. We stay available for that.
